Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 June 2026

This document is a general template provided for convenience. It is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed and adapted by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction(s) before relying on it — particularly for GDPR/UK GDPR, ePrivacy, and PRC/Hong Kong requirements. Items in [square brackets] need your input.

1. About cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They can be "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by our service providers).

2. How we use cookies

This Site is built to be lightweight and uses few or no non-essential first-party cookies. Some cookies or similar data may nonetheless be set by the third-party services that make the Site work or that we use to understand traffic, as described below.

3. Categories

Strictly necessary

Required for the Site to function and to keep it secure. Our security and delivery provider (Cloudflare) may set essential cookies or tokens to protect against malicious traffic. These do not require consent.

Analytics / performance

If enabled, these help us understand aggregate usage. We intend to use a privacy-friendly analytics tool ([Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless]). If a cookie-based analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) is used instead, it will set analytics cookies and we will obtain consent where required.

Functional / third-party

Google Fonts is used to display the Site's typefaces; it generally does not set cookies but does receive a request (including your IP) from your browser. If spam protection (hCaptcha) is enabled on our form, hCaptcha may set its own cookies when you interact with the form.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to refuse cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Site works. Useful guidance is available at your browser's help pages and at aboutcookies.org.

5. Consent

Where the EU/UK ePrivacy rules and GDPR require consent for non-essential cookies, we will request it before such cookies are set [via a consent banner — to be added if/when cookie-setting tools are enabled].

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. Please check the "Last updated" date above.
